Who are stronger... Liverpool in 2005 or the current Arsenal...?

That Liverpool side wasn't that strong really... on paper, they should never have gotten past the Round of 16 in the CL... Gerrard was probably their only player who could walk into the best teams in the World at the time... even the CL Final in 2005 could be attributed to AC Milan switching off for 6 minutes... after that, Liverpool were riding their luck until the penalty shootout... I remember them being horrible in the PL and only qualified for the CL next year cos they won it even though Everton finished above them...
