Why did so many 9/11 witnesses die? Did the government kill them?

it is a bit strange so many died,but people just dont want to think that their government would have anything to do with that so they just wont accept the fact that government's cover things up for all manner of reasons.to them it is just unthinkable and anyone who thinks this should be hung drawn and quartered. sad really.
