Sedation is fine u will have someone monitoring u at all times. U will also be hooked up to a machine to monitor ur vitals just like at doctors. Blood pressure cuff on arm the little thing on ur finger they will monitor your heart. They put meds through an IV and tell u to count down from 10 u will fall asleep looking at them watching u. After that they do there thing pulling ur teeth. If ur oxygen goes low they just crank up the oxygen on the machine because u will be on oxygen. U wont remember anything u wont wake up until they wake u up. When u wake up u will be extremely tired wondering what the hell happened. But its really not that bad. Trust me. You can ask the anesthesiologist all these questions hos job is to make u comfortable answering your questions as well as sedate you. Oh and when I had my teeth pulled and they sedated me I felt really jot and my chest got kind of tight and I felt like ants were biting me. I started to panic and they could see that they asked me what was wrong and I told them and they assured me it was ok and gave me some more meds and the symptoms went away. Ok, so in 2007 I bought an Xbox Arcade, which came with a controller and a memory stick(256MB) That was definitely not gonna be enough room for everything. So I purchased a hardrive(20GB) off Amazon, but I made the mistake to buy it from someone who had already used it and put their account info on it. Ever since I have been putting my account and games on it and I play mostly mature games I guess. This person set the limit on the hardrive to T for Teen, movies PG-13, and TV PG-14, which means that I cannot download or watch M rated trailers, demos, or anything above the settings. I have gone to system settings and turned off the Family Settings, and it hasn`t helped in any way. I have also turned Console safety off. If I decided to get the new Xbox Slim and transfer my account and whatever I want to the new hardrive, would I be able to download and watch whatever I want since I won`t have the Amazon hardrive anymore, or will his settings be transfered as well:( If theres a way to keep my account( I don`t wanna have to make a new one and start over again) but change the settings, please let me know cause I feel like I`m being contained, or should I just try getting the new xbox. Guilt and Anger - my dog died after getting neutered?

My dog was 12 yrs old. I brought him in to get him groomed(which is attached to vets)before I collected him they asked me to go in and see the vet. She said he was in pain and 'had' to have the operation to get neutered. He had lumps around his anus which bled sometimes or he scraped his bum along the ground. I knew that sometimes he was in pain and this was on my mind to bring him in. When she said this the lump in my throat. But I felt she was the vet and she knew best. So I said id think it over. Thing is I asked all my family n they were not really interested(family split up) although my dad said to leave him, but dad was sometimes old school mean so didnt really listen to him. I decided to go with it, they assured me they'd be watching him the whole time on a drip giving him oxygen etc..this didnt happen...My instingt told me he wasnt able for such an op, wasnt being walked enough and too old, however i felt id no1 to ask and felt silly asking people not everyone values animals(how v silly of me and this makes me so mad with myself) the night before the op i still wasnt sure - i told dad he was gonna decide when he came home from the pub - but unfortuately my brother turned up drunk banging on the door - he wasnt allowed in the house as he was too abusive etc..he wrapped on the door for hours until eventually we had to let him in - there was a row, my dog went into my bed for safety and peace - he trusted me. the next morning after v little sleep - i ordered my brother to bring the dog in for his app with the vet. I reluctantly went to work - v nervous ringing my brother to say im not sure about this but at like 10am that morning - they called me to say he was dead!!!!! I fel like the ground had been removed from underneath me - the worst thing that ever happened to me and iv had alot of bad things happen to me but i loved this dog to bits. he was walking and still eating he may have been in pain sometimes but no need to kill him. WHY DID THE VET HAVE TO REMOVE HIS TESTICLES SHOULD SHE NOT HAVE KNOW HE WAS TOO OLD FOR THIS! HE WAS STILL FRESHLY GROOMED - I COULDNT BELIEVE HE WAS LIFELESS - WHY DIDNT THEY JUST TAKE OUT THE LUMPS N LET HIM LIVE A BIT MORE??? I have been Driving for almost 47 years of my life and hold a class A drivers license and In the past ten years in my state they have added bicycle lanes to our streets and here of late it seems that people who ride bikes or walk along the highway have no concern for their safety when crossing the street. Just the other day a man walked out in front of four lanes of traffic I was in the far left lane of this one way street and other large cars were to the right of me. All of a sudden the car just in front of me doing 45 miles per hour (Speed Limit is 50 mph) slammed on his brakes then in the next lane the next car did the same thing and finally I had to do the same as a idiot walked threw traffic at no cross walk not looking up or around to see if traffic was coming or not. If I had not slammed on the brakes I would of hit him as it were I was just a few inches from him as he walked by all the cars were honking their horns at this guy and scared the crap out of me. He did not look up even at me even as close as I came to hitting him. Now I don't understand this type of behavior he was a young kid in his teens with a hood on his head. The next thing Is people walking into the street not paying attention to traffic lights or obeying traffic signs. I was driving down the street when a kid was going the wrong way with parked cars on the side of the road blocking my view of this bicyclist who came flying into my lane at a stop light I had the right of way and was going below the speed limit. He darted right out in front of me hands off his steering wheel and I almost hit min because he ran the red light and I could not see him and if I had been looking the Other way I would of killed him because of the size of my truck. My question is Are not kids taught safety riding their bike's anymore? are they not taught pedestrian safety anymore in schools? or parents not teaching them? And this year alone we have had ten by-cyclist killed involved in car truck related crashes. If they don't obey the law in some cases it's almost impossible to avoid hitting someone on a bike. Last year three cyclist were killed as they were riding side by side in a group and all of them were killed running a red light and a semi truck hit them. Can anyone tell me what is happening to our young people don't they know a car at an average weight of 3500 pounds traveling at 35 MPH will kill them before they can stop? And it seems the more bicycle lanes they add the worse it gets. Sounds like you are working on a report for school? Ok I work in Calibration. Basically as far as I can tell by your question. If an instrument is not proven to be within calibration it could be unsafe to use. For example say you are using a multimeter to adjust a piece of equipment. If that meter is not giving proper readings (calibrated ) Then you could over adjust and blow up the piece of equipment you are working on. when i was little my mom use to abuse herself into taking drugs and my dad use to go out and deal drugs around the town. someone phoned the social services and reported them as bad parents. I use to have to clean my sisters nappies and make food for us. I was only 7 at the time and my sister was 2. I was scared and had no idea on what to do the whole house was a mess and a health and safety hazard nothing was clean. people use to come knocking on our house shouting for my dad because my dad owe them money and people use to shout through the letterbox at early hours in the morning.I never had any friends when i was younger nor did me sister, my mum and dad use to shout at me for being there. they use to have sex infront of me and my sister and preform sexual acts on each other. I have been told a lot of information about my mom and dad as now i am 18 and allowed to know. i was taken from them at the age of 8/9 and placed into care. i never attended school before i was placed into care i never left the house my parents didn't care about me and my sister. the house was all smelly and unfit to live in. but for some reason i find it hard to live my life without feeling guilt and i feel destroyed why my parents couldn't be good enough people to stand up to the responsibly and be parents. Me and my sister was placed on the high risk register from birth as my dad had been in prison for Violet crime i was also bullied at school for being the one without any parents this use to make me feel upset and angry. i tried to commit suicides at the age of 13 because of all the bullies. i have behaviour learning difficulties i missed out learning everything all children do from birth to 8 years of age. Gas leak after refurbishment?

After having my kitchen refurbished by local housing i discovered that for 3 weeks i had 2 gas leaks one in cooker now condemned ( never failed gas safety check before ) and the other in my main gas meter after it was moved higher, Would i be entitled to a claim. I signed a non liability form but this was only for electrical items so does gas have a higher standard and notwithstanding the fact that 1 / if i was not on holiday for 2 weeks or was cold any time for the week i came home me my daughter and dog could be dead. I just realized that I have matches in my checked luggage. I have this little owl carrying case thing that I packed and the matches have been in there for months and it just hit me that I never took them out! Best way to trouble shoot starter issues...?

I got an old 96 Suzuki Bandit that was having starting issues. Had to work the clutch lever sometimes to get it to start. Cable clutch, not hydrolic. So I thought the problem was in the safety switch in the clutch lever. I jumped that out but it changed nothing. There is no turn over at all. I checked the kickstand and neutral safeties also. Where do I go to now? Starter switch? Battery connection to starter? When it did fire up it was solid, just had to pump the clutch a few times.

Question about ice skate's blades?

I just got my new ice skates yesterday, but it came with these screws for the blade. They didn't provide any instructions fir how to do it, but on the bag it stated to insert the safety screws on the blade after final adjustment? Undisclosed Branded Title in Texas?

I purchased my vehicle on April 9. The check engine light was on and the manager said it shouldnt have a problem but offered me a 3 month warranty when I was walking out. I only took the vehicle because it had a warranty. Right away the transmission started messing up. I was still able to drive but had to shift gears. I called the dealership on April 23 to let them know and to see what I had to do. They advised me to call warranty company and they could help me. Around the 27th or so, the engine started smoking. I was not able to drive it since then. The place that would service the car was 30 miles away so I had to get the car there myself. My mechanic said the engine had burned because the hose running water to the engine had been cut and then just clamped together. The warranty company denied my claim because it had a branded title because the mileage could not be verified. On Feb. 7, 2011 the vehicle was issued a non actual mileage title. This title voided my warranty. I was not notified that it had a branded title at the time of purchase. What further steps can I take, if any, to rectify the situation? Thank you.

If an instrument is not proven to be within calibration it could be unsafe to use. For example say you are using a multimeter to adjust a piece of equipment. If that meter is not giving proper readings (calibrated ) Then you could over adjust and blow up the piece of equipment you are working on. Like wise if you use an instrument to test for voltage and do not find any (because the instrument is malfunctioning {not calibrated} ) then you could work on a potentially hazardous voltage and electrocute yourself.

Homemade NaOH battery?

Every summer i make my own soap for myself for the year, this year i ordered way too much Sodium Hydroxide and German pretzels are getting old. In my garage i found a working 350 watt DC to AC power inverter so i decided to use my extra NaOH as an electrolyte in a homemade battery to use with the inverter to get a couple working outlets if the power ever goes out. I realize this battery is going to have an epic number of cells to power this thing but i'm willing to give it a shot. Long story short i am asking if anyone has experience with something like this (using NaOH as electrolyte) and if so you could save me alot of research and experimentation if you could give me some data, ie which metals to use as anode/cathode or is copper and zinc from the old grade school potato batteries still optimal, what concentration of solution is optimal, what volume of liquid/distance between electrodes, optimal surface area of said electrodes, would i be better off with a series or parallel circuit to connect the cells, things like that. This may be my first time building a legit battery that makes usable amounts of power, but being a science major i am very familiar with the chemistry so no need to dumb down the nomenclature and DEFIANTLY keep the safety lectures on caustic solutions and electrical safety to yourself, I know my way around the stuff.

i sold my house to this first time home buyer nearly 2 years ago. today he emailed me and said that i was held responsible for broken roof tiles that cause water damages throughout the 2 years. Why is my car stereo working if it's not grounded?

I installed a new stereo and it seemed fine but when I started driving it began to turn off and on again. I began to check for loose connections when the ground wire seperated at the butt connector and the radio stayed on. I buried the cars ground wire and attached the parking safety wire ( it's supposed to prevent the DVD screen from coming on while the cars e brake is up) to the radios ground wire and every thing worked fine and stopped shutting off. I checked continuity between the chassis and the radios ground wire and got OL I checked DC volts between the hot and the radios ground wire and got nothing I don't understand how it's working I am confused.

I am a 20 year old woman in California and I currently live with my mom who gets Food Stamps for me. How to arrange 3 carseats?

We have a Ford Expedition, and currently have our two children (ages 2 and 3) in forward facing carseats-each positioned behind the drivers and passengers side seats. We are expecting our third child, and have installed the rear facing infant seat in the middle between the two boy's seats. It seems like too far back to send one kid to the second set of back seats. all 3 carseats fit comfortably and arent even touching, but is there any sort of safety issue with putting the rear facing seat in the middle instead of by one of the back doors? both the boys can climb into the vehicle themselves and get in their seats and wait to be buckled in, and the infant seat lifts easily between the front seats to take her in and out of the vehicle without having to carry it over the other carseats.

Same here bro, except I'm more of a versatile defender who has experience and I need to grow muscle soon. I basically just started swimming for around two hours a day to burn out body fat and to tone my muscles, then since its freshman football, you don't need to worry about bulkiness too much, junior year is when you need that, but for now, just get toned, build some muscle, and eat a good diet.
